The September Inspiration Board
Ahhh September! What a month. I for one have been enjoying settling back into a normal London routine and getting stuck in at the studio. I've found a new way of working which feels like an easier and more efficient way to channel my overflowing ideas into something constructive. I currently have 3 new patterns on the go, one of which will be released in a matter of days...!
It seems like it's not just me who's enjoying the start of autumn. There have been so many lovely makes coming through on instagram, I love seeing them all. It definitely feels like a good time to be settling into a new project. I've had a few questions recently about where to buy fabrics so I've added a list of my favourite places at the bottom of that blog post.
In this newsletter we have a few amazing makes from Frankie (@gaseous.gay) who's apparently had a very productive month of making! There are some lovely classic makes and a very beautiful 'hack' detail that I definitely need to try soon...

And lastly, here are a couple of my favourite looks from the past month. I'm enjoying being back in thick shirts and cosy trousers and my waistcoat has gotten a lot of wear (bought in a vintage shop).
The Spring Trousers above are made from a thick brushed twill from Merchant & Mills which is absolutely heavenly. It works so well with the Spring Trouser - the whole garment feels weighty and substantial but super cosy.
Next on the make list is something in a beautiful red corduroy I bought from Raystitch...
