Info on Natural Dyes
This fabric is dyed using natural ingredients and as a result it may have a slightly uneven finish. We source from suppliers who achieve a very high quality of finish but please be aware there may be slight differences of colour within your length of fabric. Over time you may notice the colour lighten slightly due to the lack of chemicals in the dyeing process. Prolonged exposure to harsh sunlight will also have an affect on the colour, as with all delicate, natural materials.
For washing we recommend hand washing or a delicate and short machine cycle (wash at 30). A gentle detergent is essential to avoid stripping the natural dye away. We always recommend pre-washing before making your garment.
You will receive both an A4 & A0 digital pattern along with step by step sewing instructions. You can either print your pattern at home on an A4 printer or send the A0 digital copy to a printing shop (there are many that do this for a very reasonable price). If you decide to print in A4 you will need to piece the tiles together to make one huge page. There is a guide on how to do this included in the instructions.
